Weaving women communities in Zurich

WeSpace, a co-working physical space for women, and interdisciplinary, cross-sector community, supports working women. They saw the need of a co-working and community space designed by women where their members feel comfortable, where we can offer services tailored to women and where they can meet and co-create.

Part of their intention was also to act as the home-base for women communities where interactions and collaborations can continue in the future. Seeing the diversity of women’s communities, WeSpace contacted Nora Wilhelm and invited her and collaboratio helvetica to co-create an event to further strengthen the ecosystem and support the emergence of new collaborations in the space.

On 12th of June 2017, the workshop, designed and facilitated by Nora Wilhelm, took place. It included an input about ecosystems awareness and collaboration, and a design for wiser action process to explore synergies and collaboration opportunities.

The workshop was met with great interest and enthusiasm from the participants, and received very positive feedback.

Nora Wilhelm

Nora Wilhelm is a systems change advocate, researcher and artist dedicated to paradigm shifts for a more just and regenerative future. She has been on a quest to make change work since her teens, and eventually hit a wall when her body couldn't cope anymore. She was diagnosed with burn-out, and realised she had to unlearn putting herself at the end of her own to do list. In addition to her systems change work and support for (aspiring) systems change leaders, she founded the well • change atelier in 2023 to make art-based processes and tools to cultivate connection, creativity, and well-being available to more people, and is an outspoken advocate for mental health.
