Convention4U Austria

Convention4u, the Austrian conference laboratory, is an annual convention of the Austrian meeting industry. This year, Nora Wilhelm and Diana Oser from collaboratio helvetica were invited to hold speeches and workshops at the event.

Organized by the Austrian Convention Bureau, the convention aims to provide the sector with exchange opportunities and networking space to discuss major topics and developments in the industry.

Nora Wilhelm and Diana Oser from collaboratio helvetica held inspirational speeches on transformation and systemic change, discussing possible explanations of why we’re massively off-track with the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and providing insights into phenomena such as symptom fighting or the iceberg model.

They explored how the meeting industry holds the potential to sustainably transform the way we interact and exchange within and across sectors, and thereby contribute to a more meaningful meeting culture.

Nora Wilhelm

Nora Wilhelm is a systems change advocate, researcher and artist dedicated to paradigm shifts for a more just and regenerative future. She has been on a quest to make change work since her teens, and eventually hit a wall when her body couldn't cope anymore. She was diagnosed with burn-out, and realised she had to unlearn putting herself at the end of her own to do list. In addition to her systems change work and support for (aspiring) systems change leaders, she founded the well • change atelier in 2023 to make art-based processes and tools to cultivate connection, creativity, and well-being available to more people, and is an outspoken advocate for mental health.
